2010 TEMPRANILLO

This is going to be the perfect red to enjoy during the warmer weather!

It's all about red berries -both on the nose and palate. Medium bodied with cherries, raspberries and allspice.

Great food wine, as the weather warms up you could serve it ever so slightly chilled. We love it!

2009 TEMPRANILLO

This has been one of the great vintages for Upper Reach -sadly now sold out

Classic Spanish variety. This wine shows typical Tempranillo characteristics of cherries, red berries, leather and spice. It has wonderful spicy & earthy aromas on the nose and raspberries, black cherry & allspice on the palate.

The wine is rich and juicy, finishing with typical Tempranillo acidity and tannins!

We're very excited about this wine, and couldn't stop drinking it the evening after we'd finished bottling

Food Match: this would be perfect with white meat with a hint of sweetness... I'm thinking paella or char grilled seafood!

Cellaring: Fab now, but will develop in the next five years.

2008 Tempranillo
The 2008 Tempranillo is a more full bodied wine than the last vintage.

This wine shows typical Tempranillo characteristics of wild strawberries, cherries, leather and spice. It has nutty, spicy aromas on the nose and soft cherry, berry flavours.

Food Match: Jeni recommends: Slow Roasted Pork with Chorizo

Cellaring: Nice now, but will develop in the next three years.
